What is MetroDataline 2.0?
MetroDataline 2.0 is a central location for accessing MARC's county-level data for: Demographics, Education, Employment, Health, Housing, Income, Population and Travel/Transit.
We created the 2.0 version with MetroDataline's original vision in mind: to provide quick and easy access to social and economic data and characteristics of the Kansas City region.
MetroDataline 2.0 is a beta site. We plan to introduce additional data sets and smaller geographies over the course of time.
How to use this site:
- Select Counties: Click on the county (or multiple counties) for which you're interested in viewing data. Then click the Select Datasets tab.
- Select Datasets: Check the boxes for your desired datasets. Then click View the Data tab.
- View Data: Click on the menu in the top right of each chart for a selection of ways you can use this chart. (Examples: download the chart into SVG format or download the data in Excel.)

The original MetroDataline content and datasets still reside on the MetroDataline website. We are transitioning the most often-requested data to this new format which we think will be easier for most people to use. Let us know if there is particular data you need but are unable to find.
- Easy Access Census Data
This site provides Census data at the city and county levels. The data output is provided in table format that can be easily downloaded.
